  1. Dear Mr. Dr. Sher, I´m german (sorry for my english) I´m planning to have another baby. To get pregnant with my first child, I used to have intralipid, dexamethasone and clexane because of my mthfr mutation and active killer cells. Now I also started to have intralipid every two weeks. Today is my 9th cycle day, I do have my ovulation on day 14, every month and I would like to use this cycle for natural IVF. Can I start with dexamethasone tommorrow morning? And if, which dosis would you recommend? Do you have any other “tip” what I can do now? Thank you so much and my big respect for your work! There should be more involved doctors like you how work with so much passion. Kind regards, Kathrin

    • You should discuss with your doctor taking 0.75mg dexamethasone daily until the 8th week of pregnancy and then tailing off over 2 weeks. Of course if you do not conceive….tail off earlier.

  3. Hello Dr. Sher,
I am 26 years old and I get my AMH 1.0, but my FSH and relative count is normal. Will you recommend I go to freeze my eggs?

    • If you do not have a significant other partner…then yes I would hurry to freeze eggs before time runs out!

  4. I am devastated. On 4/12/2018, I got 2 PGD blastocyst transfered. On 4/18, I got positive HPT. On 4/23- My first beta of 300. On 4/25, 2nd beta=901, 4/27= 3rd beta 1910. On May 5, I bled once, bright red blood. Immediately called RE and was asked to be on bed rest and to go the following day for Sono and blood test. On the sono, Dr was able to see One empty sac and was told pregnancy was OK. Bleeding could be due to twin pregnancy and loosing one. Beta on 5/2 was 2,600. Hormone levels were ok. On 5/4 (2 days after bleeding and also 5.5 weeks pregnant)- beta was 3,060. RE asked me to stop the meds because the beta wasn’t increasing. I refused to stop the meds and went to ER. On 5/4, ER saw the gestational sac and Yolk sac. Now, I dont know what to do. If I stop the meds, the pregnancy will terminate. I can see a progress from Wed to Friday- the yolk sac but I do understand the low on hcg. !! Monday, I will go to another doctor to get another HCG done. Would you be so kind to give your medical advice?

    • I would repeat the US in 1 week before making any definitive decision.

  5. Dear doctor Sher,

I would like to ask if FSH 7.3 , LH 4.6 and Estradiol 0.07 are ok? The samples are taken on day 2. of menstrual cyclus. I am 40 years old and I am planning child nr. 2. I would also like to ask if a thin endometrie linning can cause late miscarrige at the end of the first trimester? Thank you very much in advance for your answer.

    • Those #s are good but far more important is your AMH. What was that level?

And yes…a lining of <8mm just prior to ER or initiation of progesterone therapy (for embryo recipient cycles) can cause 1st trimester miscarriage.

      Good luck!
