Can a high level of prolactin affect FET outcome?
Yes…possibly if it is markedly raised (well above 20ng/ml).

Hello Dr. Sher,
I am a 37 year old with unexplained infertility. We’ve completed the following:
1 fresh IVF (got 7 five day embryos, 1 fresh embryo transferred, resulted in chemical)
Then completed another retrieval due to insurance. Got 2 three day embryos. No transfer due to high progesterone level.
Next, attempted two frozen transfers, but both cancelled due to poor lining.
Lastly, we did a stimulated transfer to help with lining and transferred one embryo, which resulted in a negative. Lining only gets to about 7.2 at its best. Doc still thinks it’s likely embryo quality.
Now we’re debating pgs testing for remaining 7 frozen embryos OR another transfer with two embryos OR another retrieval then pgs testing them all. The cost of pgs is a major issue for us, but want to make the best decision.

What are the chances that a single 5day blastocyt divides ? I am 13 days post 5d transfer of a single embryo. My beta is however extremely high. 970 on 11 days post transfer and today it is 2240!!!
Is this an indicator that it split and that I am expecting twins?
I am 30yrs old and had to do IVF due to tubal factor, after two ectopics.

It is possible…but more than likely it will be a singleton.

Dear Dr. Sher,
Can high dose estradiol valerate ( 6mg Profynova daily, starting on CD 4-5) hinder ovulation? I had a lot of success with lowdose hMG durint two cycles. On my third cycle, due to very thing uterine lining, I was put on estradiol and I did not develop ANY follicles ( with the same dose of hMG!! does that make sense? could there have been another reason for that, besides the estradiol?
Not really if you taker it in combination with gonadotropins. Something else must be going on ion your case. Call 702-892-9696 and set up a consultation with me so we can discuss.

Hi Dr Sher, I am 37, I have a healthy 3 year old boy from my first pregnancy and have since had 5 miscarriages. IVF egg retrieval last month gave us four embryos, all of which were aneuploid. Can you suggest anything I can do or anything I should investigate with regard to improving my egg quality? APS negative, AMH 25, and I have been taking Eltroxin since 2013, currently on 100mg/125mg alternating days. I had ABS in my 20’s which has now improved.
