My Gestational Carrier stopped her progesterone and estrogen on Tuesday at 11 weeks 4 days. Last night (Thurs), she started seeing red blood on wiping. Today, it is a little more, requiring a panty liner. She also feels under the weather the past two days (non stop nausea and headache). Is this all attributable to the meds? Should we be worried about the pregnancy? Also trying to reach our RE Thanks so much. Michele
I usually discontinue the hormonal supplementation at 10 weeks. I do not believe that this is the reason for the bleeding. However, she should have E/P remeasured along with an US stat.

In your opinion, what are the risks of transferring an embryo with some chromosome 21 deletions?
If it is a monosomy 21, it will likely not progress to a viable pregnancy and if it is a “mosaic”, it might well do so!
