My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost 3 years. I am 34 and my husband just turned 36. We got pregnant naturally 3 years ago but it resulted in an early miscarriage. We continued to try on our own without success. My OB then did a HSG which was normal. We tried Clomid without success. Almost a year and a half later we went to see a fertility specialist. I was found to have DOR. We failed 3 IUIs and moved on to IVF. Our first round of IVF we ended up with 2 PGS normal embryos. We did an FET and I became pregnant. I did have a very low hcg of 22 initially but it continued to rise. We saw the sac, heard the heart beat. When we went back for our last appointment prior to being discharged from the fertility doctor, there was no heartbeat at 10 weeks.
I had a d&c. We tested the fetus again just to be sure, and it came back normal. 6 weeks later I was found to have retained fetal tissue and had to have a second procedure to remove it.
Due to only having 1 PGS normal embryo remaining at that time, we elected to do another round of IVF. This resulted in 3 more PGS normal embryos, a total of 4.
I have since had 3 FETs, all without success. My lining has been in the 7-8.5 range. We have tried Tamoxifen, Letrozole, estrace and even a natural cycle.
I have had many hysteroscopies and my husband and I have both been tested for autoimmune issues.
Any suggestions? Is it possible to not be able to carry a child? Do you think my lining is just not thick enough?
We only have 1 PGS normal embryo left and want to make sure we haven’t missed anything!
Thank you!
next week i will have fet, last week i had an intralipso serum. now i have a cold crying eyes, sneeze amd sore throat. i havent gotten a cold for years… is it something about intralipid..
Highly unlikely to have anything to do with the IL treatment.

I’m due to start my medication this week. On my previous failed fet with 2 5aa ACgH tested embryos my lining only reached 7.2mm with 4 x 2mg oestrogen and patches towards the end. However my e2 was 2500pmol/l which is high I think? Do you believe there is an optimum e2 range for transfer? Can I overdo the oestrogen? Thinking I should work on my circulation. Any advice is appreciated Thanks Sabrina
Ideally in my opinion, the endometrium should measure >8mm prior to progesterone therapy and the E2 should range between about 1,400 and 3000pmol/L.

Hi dr Sher, I started taking lupron cd21 of a 28 day cycle, I’m now on cd31 and no sign of a bleed to start stims. Do I need to worry about being on lupron to long?
I prefer there to be <14 days between the start of Lupron and the initiaion of ovarian stimulation. I suggest that you undergo an ultrasound and=have your blood estrogen measured to assess for a cyst.
