Hi Dr. 43 – no fertility issues – started child planning late in life. 2nd iVF , 3 day fresh egg transfer on 10/11/18.
First HCG on 10/19/18 : 19
2nd HCG on 10/26/18 ; 105
Is this normal. My Dr. seemed a bit wary. She was hoping this would be higher. I thought it was normal…Is this normal rate? or should it be much higher?
The rise in hCG is somewhat slow. But there is hope. Good luck!

Hi Dr. Sher,
I currently have 2 frozen day 7 embryos that tested PGS normal. What in your opinion is the chance/percentage of implantation compared to a day 5/6 embryo? I am debating on whether to transfer 1 or 2. I will be doing a natural transfer cycle.
Respectfully Sterling, I don’t hold out much hope for day-7 embryos, regardless of their PGS-status.

Hi Dr. Sher. I’m 38 and have DOR. Currently on an IVF cycle where I’ve managed to produce 3 follicles with low doses. We are going ahead with retrieval since my chances of producing more follicles are slim. I’m triggering in a couple days. Question: should I trigger with Lupron, HCG or a combo of both? I’ve always triggered with HCG before (IUIs) and have heard the Lupron trigger is used to prevent OHSS (not my case). But the doctor is suggesting Lupron this time as an alternative. I’m worried about having a “weak” ovulation and retrieving empty follicles. Which trigger should I choose and what dose(s)? Thanks!
My wife got Et on 11th oct 2018, on 26th oct we checked BHCG the value is 80, wt is that mean, is it positive or negative

I am thinking a lot and don’t know what to do. I am worrying that a third ivf cycle increases my risk of getting cancer, especially breastcancer. My concerns are, because my mother got breast cancer, I will get a preearly menopause like her and I have already gotten a very high dosage those two times. I would like to do a third retrieval in order to freeze more embryos. What do you think? Are there any concerns?
