writing to you from Sweden :), your blog is amazing and you are amazing!
Im 41 have pcos and got two children conceived naturally, 2 and 4 years old.
Im low in estrogen otherwise all my test results are normal and very good.
Im doing ivf stimulation right now and wonder what dose of hcg trigger you recommend (ovidrel). Doing IVF +PGS.
My follicle size today, day 9 of stims are between 10-15 mm, around 10 follicles on each side.
My follicles have been growing slow, 1 mm per day, and I feel my estrogen is very low (have night sweats, headaches, no EWCM and thin uterine lining). Doctor don’t want to test estrogen levels since Im on Orgalutran and he said it won’t be relevant, I understand why, I had a very clear drop in estrogen when I started Orgalutran).
The plan is to stim for 2 to 4 more days before trigger. What dose of hcg would you recommend?

ADDENDUM:

Hi Dr. Sher! I just received my testing from your NY office. No NK, antiphospholid, genetic, lupus anticoagulant etc. abnormalities despite stillborn (holoprosencephaly), chemical pregnancy, and 8 week miscarriage (no live births). However, our donor (my husband has azoospermia) and my DQ Alpha testing showed extensive matching. Mine was 1.1 and 4.1 His was 4.1 and 4.1. Are there any chances of success with Medrol and intralipid infusion or should we seek a new donor?
If you have no NK cell activation, the DQ alpha match should not matter. You need both NKa and a match for there to be an implantation issue. Intralipid will not be needed.

Hi, I’m 5days post a 6 day fet and I feel like I’m going to come on my period. Assuming I do, would this likely be due to the fact it didn’t implant (fully tested) and therefore my period came as usual or as it has only been 5 days is it more likely implantation happened but only briefly which triggered the bleed? Thanks
More likely the former…a failed implantation.

Hello Dr. Sher, I keep hearing about how important gut health is, and I have trouble with the folic acid. I’m already taking half the suggested dose but I still have nearly daily diarrhoea and am bloated to the point that it often wakes me during the night. I have other fertility issues too that mean I have been unsuccessful for the last 18 months. The constant bloating is irritating and at times I do wonder if it might be a minor contributing factor too. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I really doubt this is a contributing factor. You need a detailed fertility evaluation.

Hi Dr. Sher,
In mid-July, my transfer will take place.
I will already have my Sonohysterogram on March, 6.
I am wondering if this is not too early since it takes another 4 months where polyps could grow until to the transfer.
Also, I will not have a period before my SHG and also not later. I am taking the Nuvaring from the middle of January until End of May without a break. What do you mean?
