Hello,
How important are rising estrogen levels when doing trigger for IUI? My first cycle with just letrozole it was 350 and next with added gonal-f it was only 70?
That does not sound right or good!
Sorry!

Dear Dr. Sher,
I have been on 20 units of Lupron for a long Lupron protocol for 9 days. I was supposed to start stims on Saturday (first IVF!), but today at my suppression check, they found I have a cyst on my right ovary and my e2 is 175. I didn’t do BCP beforehand. I will go back in on Friday for more blood work. I was reading studies that found that IVF cycles that start with functional cysts are less successful, so I am wondering if I should just cancel it, regardless of what blood work shows? All out of pocket, so would like our best chances going forward. Also, I read somewhere else that you believe 20 units of Lupron is too high of a dose – what impact could that have on me? I just turned 38 with an AMH of 2.33, and we are using donor sperm as a result of MFI. No issues found with me, and had a miscarriage of twins with donor IUI earlier this year. Thank you!
If I were you, I would have the cyst aspirated trans-vaginally under local anesthetic andf proceed with the cycle!
Good Luck!

Hi, I am due to start progesterone for my FET tomorrow, my lining is good – 13mm – but scan didn’t show trilaminar, I do have an inverted uterus though. Is there another way to scan for trilaminar? Would you advise postponing the FET or going ahead? Thanks!
The trilaminar effect is in my opinion irrelevant. It is the thickness that counts.
Good luck!

Hello Dr Sher,
If an ectopic pregnancy inside fallopian tube resolves by itself without treatment before growing too large (maximum hcg level 1450), is it necessary to check if fallopian tube is still open before trying to conceive again naturally? Does the pregnancy get absorbed by the body fully and fallopian tube return to normal status? Thanks.
I think it is a good idea to confirm tubal patency before proceeding.

Hi Sher,
I had 3 3d fet, b-hcg on day 15 was 262, it was 621 after 48 hours. Is it normal level or something I need to worry about.
I have thyroid TSH value 6. Doc prescribed thyronorm 25mcg daily for it.
Those numbers are respectable and reason for optimism!
Good luck!
