  1. Hi,
I am 41 years old. I’d like to be very straight forward. I’m still trying hard to believe in my myself and believe I can make a child. I never tried before because I never had a partner.
My insurance company does not cover IVF or Sperm donor services. I believe my insurance may cover some fertility medications. Can you please tell me how I can receive sponsorship? Also, I would love to be part of any fertility trial. Please help.
I hope my question makes sense.
    Thank you,
    Shane D.

    • I wish I could he;p Shane…but I do not have any relevant input to make.

      Sorry,

      I wish you well!

  2. Dr.Sher I’m pregnant but unsure of the weeks I am. No one has told me anything as well. I was spotting but then it stopped I didn’t have any pain at all. My Hcg Level was at 378 but then 3 days later I went back to get my blood drawn again but it dropped to 340. They took an ultrasound but didn’t see anything just a “normal uterus” my cervix is closed as well but they were suggesting me to take an injection because they “think” I may be having an ectopic pregnancy but aren’t even 100% sure if it is. What could this mean?

    • I would wait 7-10 days and repeat the US before taking any drastic action. If you have any sudden pain or bleeding, go directly to the ER.

  3. Hi, I would like to ask for your opinion regarding Dhea supplements. I’m 36 with 2 pregnancies (first had to be stoped due to spina bifida and the second baby had trisomy 4). I have diminished ovarian reserve, high FSH (15-22) and very low AMH. Tried through IVF but still had only one egg and now we take one egg per month and fertilize it. I used supplements with dhea now and for three months but I have high blood Dhea-s levels (522 µg/dl) and testosterone 1.78 nmol/l. Should I stop the supplements? Dhea can cause harm to egg’s quality instead of improving it in my case? Thank you for your time

  4. Hi- was just about to go for baseline ultrasound for FET, but found out have a 40mm cyst and a 14mm cyst. Just got off birth control after 9 days; period hasn’t come yet and it’s been day 3 or 4. We are awaiting progesterone and estrogen levels to determine what type of cyst this is.
What would you advise us do here? Assuming the cyst is not producing any estrogen, would you recommend proceeding with FET cycle? Assuming the cyst is producing esetrogen, is it likely the cyst will go away naturally in the coming weeks or do you advise trying to drain it?
    thanks

    • The nature of the lesions needs to be determined before proceeding.

  5. Hi,

I live in Ireland and I was wondering how much the consultant with Dr sher is, there is a high chance I will need Viagra and aspirin as I’ve a lining thickening issue which won’t increase beyond 4.3 with diet or estrogen, I have tried both. If you can give me a breakdown of how much your consultation is, your protocol and your medication prices, including shipping to Ireland, I would be so grateful.

    Kindest regards,
    Roisin
