I ust had a FET yday. 2 embryos. Do you recommend bed rest. Ifso, sitting up right or laying flat?. For sleeping… what is the best position – back stomach or side. What about showering
I do not recommend bed rest to my patients. I tell them to be “couch potatoes” for a day or two but there is no reason to take it to an extreme.

Hello I Am concerns about my hcg levels and just wanted to see if you could give me some advice my last cycle was on 04/16/2020 I had my first hcg on 5/11 it was 27 second hcg 5/13 50 5/15 162 5/18 482 5/20 858 i am going on 5 weeks
It looks reasonable but you need an ultrasound to confirm in about 10 days time.

Hi Dr Sher – just had an FET transfer for day 5 blast. Would you recommend continue taking baby aspirin until 1st trimester is over or no need? Clinic is asking us to take 1 baby aspirin a day, 2 estrogen pills, and 1.5ml of progesterone (75 units) a day post the transfer.
I know you have changed your view on baby aspirin and apparently don’t recommend it anymore. Can I ask if it hurts to take it or no downside in taking it through the first 10 weeks post transfer since it supposedly helps as an offset to estradiol?

I do not believe that BA has any benefit and whenit comes to ET, it could increase the risk of concealed intrauterine bleeding that could compromise implantation.
But I do agree that it likely wont do harm if started after ET.

Hi There,
So, I am the recipient of donor embryos. I have had 4 failed transfers, and before the 4th, we found out that I have some high NK cell activity, cytokines, and thrombophilia.
I ended up getting pregnant on my own, with my LMP on 4/16/2020.
My first beta on 5/12/2020 was 216.
Second beta on 5/14/2020 was 451.
Third beta on 5/18/2020 was 1260.
Fourth beta on 5/20/2020 was 2050.
Whare are your thought on this?
Hello doctor Sher, I have been wanting to get a second opinion about my situation for a while. I started IVF when I was 27 due to having low AMH of 0.8. I did first round of stims and got 17eggs, 12 mature, 10 fertilized and 7 PGS normal. After that we proceeded with first FET which was estradiol, progesterone injections protocol, right before that one I had saline ultrasound done. First FET didn’t work. We proceeded with the same protocol for the second FET but didn’t get to transfer because I ovulated through the meds. After that and much research I felt my body doesn’t like the meds and asked for a unmedicated cycle since I ovulate every month on the same day. For that on we used ovidrel shot to induce ovulation, started progesterone suppositories, few days of medrol and doxycycline. This 3rd FET resulted in pregnancy that looked perfect, all blood levels were great, beta doubling but couldn’t find heartbeat. I had to have a D&C for that one. Now my doctor made me do RPL which came back as everything normal so I am completely defeated as I do not understand if everything is ok with me why did I miscarry my PGS embryo. She wants me to do the exact same protocol as the one that worked for the next FET but I feel like we should be adding something and I am loosing complete trust in her since I am young, healthy, perfect embryos and nobody can explain to me why. Doing the same protocol is I guess good
Since it did resulted in pregnancy but I am scared it will end the same way and she must have missed something. Thank you for your help and input!
