Hi Dr Sher,
I’m provisionally scheduled for a FET tomorrow afternoon (I have been taken estrace and progesterone). My levels are as follows:
Progesterone – 16.7
Estrogen – 249
Lining – 8.4
Do these levels look good to you? Would you advise proceeding with the FET tomorrow? I only have a few embryos on ice and want to make sure everything looks good (I need to make a call by EOD).
Thank you so much for all your support!
It all depends on the regime you are on to prepare for the FET. Uterine ling looks reasonable.

Hello! I am currently 5w5d. I went for an U/S yesterday (5w4d) and all I saw was a gestational sac (6.2mm) and yolk sac (1.9mm). We did not see a baby or HB. Is this a bad sign? HCG #’s below:
11dp5dt: 179
13dp5dt: 440
20dp5dt: 6407
Thanks!
Could be too early. Repeat US in 1 week!
Good luck!

I know i have so many questions but i am very confused and have been trying to research. Could the ultrasound tech from the hospital be wrong and i do have product of conception? but i am not bleeding or cramping nor am i showing any type of sickness.
If in doubt, have a repeat US and get a second opinion.
Good luck!

Hello,
I will try to be as clear as possible. On June 18,2020 I miscarried at exactly 9 weeks. I went to the hospital June 20 and my hcg levels where 57093. For some reason I ovulated on June 25 (only a few days after miscarriage) and now 4 weeks later I have a positive pregnancy test and my Hcg levels are 1384 is this a new pregnancy or left over Hcg from the last pregnancy? and also when i went to the hospital the ultrasound tech said that i had passed everything and i didn’t have any product of conception left.
I find it very unlikely that you ovulated 4 days after miscarrying. I cannot help thinking that this is a residual hCG after the miscarriage. You need to have your doctor follow the hCG levels carefully and get serial ultrasounds. If this is (as I suspect), a residual effect, make sure it drops to zero and if it does not, you might require treatment.
Good luck and please keep me in the loop.

Hi Dr. Sher,
In July 2019 i did my egg retrieval, retrieved 19 eggs, froze 12. We did a fresh transfer and received a positive pregnancy test only to miscarry on the 7th week.
In January 2020 we did our first frozen embryo transfer. Estrace (3 pills a day orally) my lining was ready at my first lining check so then I continued on with Endometrium (3 pills vaginally with a progesterone shot every 3rd day). Did the frozen transfer using a grade 4AA embryo only to result in a negative pregnancy test. Doctor said that the embryo want genetically ready so it didn’t implant. What do you think?
Fast forward to end of May, we started another frozen embryo cycle. 3 estrace orally, went for first lining check, lining wasn’t there thick enough, was prescribed to do estrace 1 pill vaginally in addition to the 3 orally. Went a week later and was told that the lining thickness is good but the trilaminar layers aren’t quite there yet. Continued the same meds, went back 4 days later he said it was ready proceeded with taking the endometrium 3 pills vaginally and injection every 3rd day. Received my pregnancy test results and it’s negative.
Why do you think it’s not implanting with my frozen transfers?
I’m scheduled to see my gynecologist in a week and was wondering what do you think I should be asking? Are there tests I should be doing? Do you think I’m suffering from the implantation deficiency? Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
