Hi Dr. Sher,
I transferred two 5 day embryos and my first hcg level at 13 days post transfer was 998 and then 15 days post was 2097. Is this high and an increased chance of twins?

Hello Dr,
I am 44 years old and just completed an IVF cycle. 15 eggs were retrieved, 9 mature, 7 fertilized and all 7 reached day 3
One 10 cell less than 10% fragments, one 10 cell less than 25% fragm, one 8 cell less than 10% fragments, two eight cells less than 25% fragments, and two six cells less than 25% fragments
We are planning to transfer both 10 and the three 8 cells
Do you think I have a chance implanting these 5 embryos with these grades ?

Hi Dr. Geoffrey,
I had emailed you previously in regards to my hcg and likelihood of having a viable pregnancy. I went in for a scan at 6 weeks 0 days. The gestational sac, fetal pole, embryo, and some heart flutter was visualized -no heartbeat was discernible enough to measure. Traditionally, with early vaginal ultrasounds, do you expect to be able to not just see a heart flutter but actually capture a rate and in turn hear it on the the ultrasound machine? Is it more 6 weeks plus 3 days and on ? My LMP was 9/2- 28 days cycles
It could be a little early! I would repeat the US in 1 week~!

Hey! My hcg levels were taken every 48 hours. They were 95, 188, and then 331. Are these levels considered low?

Hi Dr. Sher,
Hope all is well with you.
My clinic wants me to trigger with 0.5ml/1,000units of Pregnyl with Superfact 0.5ML.
What would be the biological potency of above dose?
I have 15 follicles, E2 on day 9 of meds was 9,929 and he expects it to be over 15,000 tomorrow when we trigger in a day or two. The clinic is ok to go up to 5,000 pregnyl with Superfact 0.5mL but they think it may cause OHSS.
Would the first dose be enough for egg maturation?
or do you think just go straight for the 10,000 units of Pregnyl?
I took ovidrel 500mcg when my e2 was 10K last time with no OHSS.
From all your videos I’ve watched you always recommend 10K units of Pregnyl or equivalent.

You are correct 10K of Pregnyl/Profasi/Novarel. However, what your RE is suggesting is also acceptable.
