Hello Doctor,
I am 37 years old and this is my first pregnancy. Currently I am at 7th week. My hcg levels are raising very slow than expected and my doctor has some concerns. Could you please provide you expertise.
first beta 12/23 -602
12/28 – 1595
1/4 – 3678 ; 1st US – 5w6d (gestational sac and fetal pole with 116 hb detected)
1/11- 5153 ; 2nd US- 6w6d (as per my doc gestational sac is small and didn’t grow as expected but baby size is 9mm with 126 hb)
Sir, is this still a viable pregnancy ?
Only time will tell. Do a repeat US in a week for a more definitive answer.

Hello Dr. Sher – I am turning 43 next month. I banked several euploid embryos and will attempt to transfer shortly. I live in France and my clinic is in another country. After 7 banking cycles I do not think I will do any more stimulation cycles. As a child I was diagnosed with asthma and I am pre-diabetic. I don’t know if that qualifies as underlying conditions, but I feel uneasy traveling for and attempting the FET at the height of Covid. I also would prefer not to take the vaccine while pregnant due to a lack of information. In your opinion, is it advisable to wait to receive the vaccine before undergoing the FET? Thank you for this wonderful forum!
Either defer the vaccine of have it done and then wait 4-6bweeks after the 2nd shoot before initiating a cycle.Please discuss with your personal RE for his/her input, before proceeding.

Hello can you give me some insight ? I had a hcg level of 96 at 14pdo
the second was only 127 at 16 dpo. Is this okay?
It is a slowish rise. I suggest repeating in 2 days to see if it picks up substantially!

What do you think of inositol supplements for someone not diagnosed with PCOS but with poor egg quality? Specifically I am wondering about Ovasitol by Theralogix.
I am not convinced of its efficacy!

Hi, my Hcg was 337 on 16 DPO and 89 hours later it was 1,788 on 20DPO , online calculator says the numbers doubled every 37 hours. Does that sound good?? Thanks in advance.
Also my progesterone was 15.5 on 16dpo should I be taking a progesterone supplement ? My OB won’t see me until 10 weeks… thanks.
This does not look discouraging to me at this stage. And yes, there would be no harm in taking progesterone supplements.
