Is amoxicillin safe during first trimester pregnancy? The general practitioner prescribed this for me, and Dr. Google says it’s safe but I don’t fully trust either.
Provided you have no allergy to PCN, it is almost certainly safe.

Dr. Sher,
After 4 IVF cycles, we now have 2 embryos:
– 1 from cycle 3 : 4 AA, Low risk Mosaic, 46 + 25%3
– 1 from cycle 4: 4CB, Euploid
May I get your thoughts on – Which one should we consider for FET? Given the second embryo has poor morphology of ICM?
Thank you so much
Unquestionably, I would start by transferring t5he euploid blastocyst!
Good luck!

Dr Sher,
I had a live birth through ivf after treatment for NK cells (pred, intralipids, lmwh).
What effect does having a live birth have on NK cells? Any chance NK cells might lower as a result of a successful pregnancy?
We would like another baby but cannot afford any more NK treatment.
Possible, but unlikely to have any permanent effect on NK cell activity!
Sorry!

Hello,
I am starting progesterone in oil injections on the evening of Feb 1 to transfer a day 6 frozen embryo. Do you recommend the transfer be on the afternoon of Feb 7 or 8?
Thank you!
6 days after starting progesterone.
Good luck!

Are you able to explain what may cause elevated baseline progesterone? I had completely normal hormone levels but have been doing fertility treatments for about a year. My periods have become very light and I just checked and saw that my baseline progesterone is always around 2. I cant seem to get any answer or clarity on why this could be. I also have a cyst this cycle, not sure if that’s related as it seems to be a consistent problem for me. Had surgery to remove endometrioma in December but the progesterone issue precedes this. Thank you
It is due to some persistence in the corpus luteum . However, I do not think 2 ng/ml is too high to start.
