  1. It was found that I had thrombosis when I came to you about 10 years ago. Is it safe to get the Covid Vaccine with this condition?

    • Jennifer,

This is something you need to discuss with your primary care physician.

      Good luck!

  2. Hi Dr. Sher,

I just received the PGT-A results for one high level mosaic embryo with -4q. It was graded a 4AA.

Would you consider transferring and what are the risks involved? I am 39 years old.

    Thank you!

    • In my opinion, it is worth considering for transfer…but you need to discuss with your treating RE and nfirst get his/her concurrence.

      Good luck!

  3. Hi
I had IUI on 22nd Apr, 18 days later on 10th may i had my first HCG

    10th – 117
    12th – 162
    14th – 262

also had scan today on 14th on what should be 5+1 and a sac could be seen but i know the numbers are rising very slowly. Do you think this is a miscarriage?

    Thanks

    • Unfortunately it does not look encouraging. However, only time will tell!

      Sorry!

  4. Hello,

I had an HSG done 3 days ago (May 11th). The procedure was quite painful for me, the x-ray technician said the catheter kept slipping out so he had to repeatedly re-insert it. He said that my fallopian tubes had no blockage. Since then I have had cramping on and off for two days. This morning (May 14th) I had intercourse with my husband and found there to be very little feeling or sensation during it for me. Could this be a result of the harm caused by the HSG to my vaginal lining? If so, how long will this loss of feeling last? I have never had this happen before, so am hoping my body heals quickly and starts feeling normal again.

Thanks so much in advance for your help!

    • If you are experiencing post-HSG pain and or fever, contact your treating physician to rule out HSG-induced pelvic inflammation. This is not common but it can and does happen sometimes and needs to be addressed promptly!

  5. Hi Dr Sher,

Thank you so for this forum. I’m wanting to get your opinion about my updated hcg levels

    11 dpo: 24
    14 dpo: 79
    17 dpo: 219
    21 dpo: 589
    23 dpo: 1022

Progesterone was last at 25.5 at 21 dpo

So I know the rise is sufficient but I’m concerned about the overall low values. Is that a reason to be more concerned about a non viable pregnancy?

I have had 4 successful pregnancies and no losses but I feel concerned and don’t have an ultrasound for another 10 days (at 7.2 weeks)

    Thanks,
    Stephanee

    • You will need an US done in 7-10mdays for a definitive answer.

      Good luck!
