  1. Hi Dr,

I would like to know in which time of cycle I have to relax snd decrease movement to have better chance to be pregnant? For IUI cycle is it better to relax during few days after IUI or a week after during implantation?

    Thank you very much

    Thalia

    • I do not think it really matters, one way or the other. Your state of mind is the most important!

  3. Hi Dr Sher,
Thank you for generously giving your time and expertise on this forum. I had a fresh transfer (donor egg) on July 7th, my betas on the 19th and on 23rd were very good, with good doubling times. I am on endometrin 100mg three times daily. I was late taking the afternoon dose yesterday (usually would take at 3:30/4pm and took at 7:30pm. I then took the following dose at 2:30 am to space, and continued as normal the following day. Do you think this will adversely affect things? Thank you

  4. Good evening Dr Sher,

I recently transferred a low level mosaic + 22 trisomy, and 8 days past transfer got the pregnancy result which came back positive. The hcg level was 70 and I go back tomorrow to see if it’s doubling. Can I miscarry anytime in the first trimester if it’s not normal embryo?
Is amino the only safe test to see if this will be a viable pregnancy? No testing available early on? What do you think of my chances? I’m 42. No issue with progesterone and lining was over 9.

    Thank you

    Sarah

    • You could miscarry…usually if this happens it will be a 1st trimester loss. However, if it continues, you should have a chorionic villus sampling (CVS) in the 1st trimester, or amniocentesis in the early 2nd trimester, to rule out an trisomic conceptus.

      Good luck!

  5. I was hoping for some insight on hcg levels. I had a transfer 6/29/21 of a PGT normal embryo and on 7/8/21 (9 days post transfer) my hcg level was 248. 48 hours later (11 days post transfer) my hcg level only went up to 391, but an additional 48 hours later (13 days post transfer) it increased to 856. At this point my REI is recommending just waiting for an US at 7 weeks. Should I have high concern for a blighted ovum given the slow rise initially? Thanks so much for your time!

    • I am reasonably optimistic for you!

I agree…do an US at 7 weeks for a definitive answer.

      Good luck and G-d bless!
