Hello Doctor, I am 10 weeks pregnant. Two days ago I was riding with my husband in the car when an oncoming vehicle swerved into our lane. My husband swerved while slamming on the brakes really hard, jolting me forward a bit. I was wearing my seatbelt. I do not have any pain in my abdomen or anywhere else, nor do I have any bleeding. The sudden jerk scared me and I’ve been looking online ever since. Could I have caused any harm to my baby like a placental abruption or anything?!
Forget it! It is highly unlikely that any damage whatsoever, was done~!
G-d bless!

Hello, Dr.
I am worried.
I had my 5day blastocyst transfer on 30.09
I had a HCB result of 9 on 08.10.
I had second one yeaterday (13.10) and it was 50.
Is there a chance of successful pregnancy?
Thank you!

Hi i am 36 years old.I am going to start ivf in this month but the doctors already told me that my Amh result is very low which is 1.5,so thats why i have only 5%chance to conceive.Plz guide me which combination of medicine they give me to success my ivf.My fsh level is 7.Actually i am also Pcos patient.
It all depends whether that measurement was in picograms per milliliter (pg/ml) or in picomols/Liter (pmol/L). If the measurement was 1.5pg/ml …that is still reasonable and provided you don’t waste time , you should do well. If it was 1.5pmol/L, that could be a problem. However there are many other factors to take into consideration. To mention but a few: age, sperm quality, uterine receptivity and cause of the infertility.

Hi Dr Sher, you mentioned in a thread below that you recommend taking a month’s break before doing an ERA test. In this instance it was a break from Progesterone pessaries during the luteal phase in a natural cycle. Do you recommend taking a break if it’s for a medicated ERA test as well? Or was this only required for a natural ERA cycle. In a medicated cycle the hormones are controlled so I would think a break is not necessary. What are your thoughts?
Thanks so much!
Sheena,
My opinion that a months break is not absolute. However, I would recommend such an hiatus. Take the advice of your personal RE on this matter.
