   I’m very concerned. I’m 8w5d pregnant with genetically tested embryo. All was well until scan today. Baby measured fine, hb was 160 but gestational sac measuring a week behind. Sac did not grow from scan last week. My doctor was not overly concerned but I have read a lot of information pointing to impending miscarriage. In your experience, should I
   Prepare for the worst. Thank you

   Hi Dr Sher, when doing a medicated FET do you normally have to do a baseline scan on CD2? My clinic does not required on … only on CD10. Is this correct?

   Hi Dr. Sher,
   My betas were as follows:
   4w4 : 2407
   4w 6: 4099
   5w1: 6124
   5w3: 7496
   5w5: 9,112 (Had ultrasound and saw heartbeat)

   Is this pattern concerning to you? Additionally, I have a sch that was found in the ultrasound. I am not feeling hopeful and am wondering if this pattern can indicate a later loss after the heartbeat is found? I am also wondering if the progesterone that I’m on is helping maintain something that would miscarry? And do people have normal chromosomal babies to term with this pattern? I go back for another ultrasound tomorrow and will talk more about this with them as well. Thank you for any help.

   Hello Doctor 🙂

   Past: Two failed IVF cycles.
   Last period:. 23rd August
   Was about to go with the third cycle and natural cycle worked and blood test on 29th September was 736.
   Started Duphaston twice a day.
   Had some severe cramps and went for blood test and scan on 11th October. Empty sac and HCG was 18097.

   Is this normal? I fear that it could be blighted ovum 🙁
