Hi,I am 29 years old,I have 2 unsuccesful IUI,2 IVF and nothing works.I have PCOS,but everything else is normal,Trying for 5 years to stay pregnant.The quality of the embryos was good.What I can do?What chek up I need to do?I dont know what to do anymore!?..Thank you

How can you treat high nkc while trying to conceive naturally?
It is not easy but it can be done if you are willing to have an intralipid infusion + steroid therapy every month. I personally do not agree with this. I feel that if IL/steroids are needed, treatment should preferentially be with IVF.

I had my embryo transfer on 19 June, 2016. My pregnancy test was positive. My first scan is on 21 July. Today I saw some light spotting and I’m scared. Pls advise if I need to see the doctor.

This is quite common and as long as it does not escalate progressively and is not associated with pain, I would not be overly concerned. All could be likely to work out.

Hi Dr. Sher – I’d like to look into NK cell testing but not sure any labs or clinics in Portland OR perform this. Do you know of any clinics that I could send a blood draw to by mail that would be able to test it and provide results? Is having NK cells the same as having an auto immune disease? – what’s the difference? Can this be helped with medication? Thank you!

Hello Doctor,
Hi I am 29 and husband is 33 we had tried for a year before staring any treatments it failed then my Obgyn prescibed 2.5 mg letrzole for 3 months so success we then did a hsg and Mri and found out I have a left unicorn uterus with 2 ovaries and 2 tube but the right is not connected we did 2 rounds of IUI with no success then moved to IVF we retrieved 16 eggs out of which 14 were mature 11 fertilized with isci and 7 made to blastocyst stage we transferred 1 and that resulted in a miscarriage at 6 weeks then did a frozen and again transferred 1 which resulted in a chemical pregnancy recent did another frozen transfer with 1 embryo and this time it’s negative.MY RE is asked me to see surrogate options as she thinks my uterus is to blame for I have still 4 embryos left so my question is can I get pregnant this time I m planning to transfer 2 embryos .Feel devastated as there is no other problem with me or my husband and don’t see why I can’t get pregnant

A unicornuate uterus should not be significantly prejudiced as to warrant gestational surrogacy. In my opinion, something might well have been missed. Remember there is no reason that you could not have an independent cause for failure such as an implantation dysfunction (immunologic or anatomical).
