Per your recommendation to help with our gestational carrier’a thin lining, we are adding sildenafil 4 times per day this cycle. You said to start viagra when her menses end. She just had her baseline ultrasound today, all looks good, and the RE said she should start the estrogen stimulation tonight. However, her period is still going on (it started Tuesday) and she has had a full flow since yesterday. Should she start the sildenafil now since the estrogen stimulation is starting, or do you recommend that we do estrogen without the sildenafil until her period ends? Thank you so much!

I am 32 years with unexplained primary infertility. I have undergone 3 IVF’s with no success. I have done 2 antagonist protocols and 1 microflare protocol. The two antagonist cycles gave me an embryo with each to transfer (one an early blast and another a morula). Transfers are done fresh on Day 5. The microflare cycle did not produce any embryos viable for transfer. Most embryos are experiencing fragmentation in early stages. Sperm numbers are good. Are there any specific testing I should have done before IVF 4? Anything I should bring up to my doctor? They are stumped that a 32 yr old would have such poor results with a good reserve (AMH was 6.1 last June).
I have been ttc for 8 years have had 3 losses most recently in Jan 2016. I have actively started trying after my most recent loss about 2 months ago. I have been taking prenatals along with a b vitamin complex and d vitamins on a daily basis (is this a safe combination) is my first question. I have been tracking my cycles in an app since April of 2016 and the app stated i was fertile as of two days ago i went and got a few opks yesterday and it was pos. also pos. today. i also had a pinching pain in my right ovary the day before yesterday. Would you say i most likely did ovulate or am currently?? I am so lost after all of the failed attempts and just desperate for answers.
I am on 16dp5dt, 3 blastocyst transfer , on 16thdp having 443 betahcg. Any hope for pregnancy?
It could be OK. Repeat in 2 days to see if it doubles and have an ultrasound done in 10 days for confirmation.

My Wife and I went to see a fertility specialist last month as we are ready to build our own family thru IVF. My wife has this strange fear/phobia of anything that touches her vagina. Which means we haven’t had sexual intercourse since we got married. We are both willing to sacrifice a lot for this process. Our Doctor said that they can sedate her while extracting the eggs on her ovary. They did test on me and everything looks good however our doctor wanted to perform vaginal ultrasound to my wife to check her eggs and unfortunately she can’t sedate her and that’s interfering with our IVF process. We tried everything for my wife to eliminate her fear and a lot of therapy. My question is can she have vaginal ultrasound while she is sedated? Thank you!
Yes she can, but abdominal ultrasound follicle assessments could supplant vaginal follicle assessments. Discuss with your RE.
