Dear Dr. Sher,
We have always dreamed of a babygirl. We already have a son and have tried through GS to make our wish come true.
We have did 3 cycles at No microsort, but NGD, frozen.
After 3 cycles we ended up with 32 fertilized eggs, 10 blasts. Of the 10 embryos there were half girls, half boys. But all the 5 XX embryos had abnormalities and all the 5 XY were healthy.
What do you conclude to that after 3 cycles?
Can partner can only produce healthy y sperm?
Can you explain what might be the reason? My partners X sperm might be of poor quality or is it my egg quality?
Why are all the XX embros bad? Are we not able to produce girls do you think?
Is it possible to examine the X sperm on a pre-elininary examination?
What treatment do you recommend?

In my opinion, this is very unlikely to be anything other than very bad luck!

Hi I have had 2 failed ivf cycles,on both cycles they collected 9 eggs,7 fertilised on the 1st and 5 on the second,got to day 5 on both,on the highest dose of gonal f,but no implantation,I bled during the 2 week wait,could this be due to not enough progrestrone to support my lining?

I am my husband are both 34 years of age. We have undergone a detailed testing and all the reports looks good apart from the AMH being on the lower side. My results are as below
Day 2 results:
FSH: 4.41 mIU/ml
LH: 3.53 mIU/ml
Prolactin: 14.24 ng/ml
E2: 40.67 pg/ml
Day 6: AMH: 1.86 ng/ml
Please advise if we can try natural conception for another year or start the fertility treatment at the earliest. We have been TTC for close to two years now. Thanks for your advice.

That is very much a personal choice. In my opinion, you could delay definitive treatment for 6-12 months but probably not any longer.

We recently transfered a day 6 PGS normal embryo and received a positive pregnancy blood test on day 11 with hCG 286. 2 days later hCG was 533 (86% increase). 2 days later hCG was 882 (65% increase).
Does the declining % of increase mean that the pregnancy likely won’t last? What increase would you normally hope to see?

It is much too early to say. Keep following the hCG levels every 2-4 days and have an ultrasound in 10days and you will have an answer. Report any sudden abdominal pain to your doctor.
