  1. Hi Dr Sher, what happens with post-mature eggs? do they fertilise, fail to fertilise, fertilise and fail to propagate or can’t be fertilised?

    • All of the above!

  2. Hi Dr Sher. My progesterone level was 1.13 ng/ml on day 9 of stims and the following day, which was trigger day, my progesterone dropped to 0.66 ng/ml. Is that drop significant? My progesterone on trigger night is usually 1.26 ng/ml, so I was a bit concerned it was only 0.66 this time round. Is this a problem?

    • No! I do not believe this to be a problem!

  3. Hi Dr Sher, do you recommend frozen or fresh transfers for women who have a susceptibility to endometriosis after having had it excised? What is your preference for women with endometriosis?

    • Either!

  4. Hi Dr Sher, if on day 5 the embryo is an “early blastocyst” is it likely that it is incompetent and should it be left another day to see if it turns into a blastocyst?

    • Should wait another 1 day to see.

  5. Hi Dr SHer, if an egg allows two sperm to fertilise it, is that an egg issue or a sperm issue?

    • Could be either!
