Hi Dr Sher, I have sent 12 embryos for PGT-M Cystic fibrosis testing and PGT-A testing. I have had 3 embryos come back with the result of “haploid” detected by PGTM Testing and come back “euploid” in the PGTA testing. I am having a hard time understanding how 3 embryos from Different retrievals can all be missing 23 chromosomes and no one is giving me any answers as to how this happens I was hoping you could help! Thanks!
It does not make sense to me either. Sounds like a possible error??

Hi Dr. Sher,
We recently did an embryo transfer and I’m currently 5-6 weeks pregnant and patiently waiting for our first ultrasound.
I was wondering if taking progesterone (IM and vaginally) and estradiol could mask the signs of miscarriage such as bleeding or cramping?
I am IVF patient today my report value 0.33 this value positive or negative
If that is an hCG level tested > 12 days post ovulation or egg retrieval…it is sadly, negative.
G-d bless!

Hi Dr. Sher,
I had a live uncomplicated birth that occurred in 2017 and then had a miscarriage at nine weeks in 2019 followed by two chemical pregnancies. I have had the testing for recurrent pregnancy loss and everything has come back negative and I was placed in the unexplained infertility category…we are currently trying timed intercourse with using 5 mg of letrozole from cycle day 3 to 7 I am currently four days past ovulation and have asked my doctor about possibly starting progesterone supplements since I have heard that this helps but he refuses and did not even offer to test for it he said that it was unnecessary for a timed cycle how do you feel about this?
It looks like I’ve had a failed fet but have no other embryos to transfer. Can I do an egg retrieval right after failed fet or should I wait another month?
I would take at least a full konth’s brak off all medications to allow your ovaries to recover.
Good luck!

Dear Dr Sher,
Would you transfer a complex abnormal embryo with -2, +21, +22 chromosomes affected?
Many thanks
No I would not!
Sorry!
