Hi Dr. Sher,
I have had four unexplained miscarriages over the past year and half. With no rhyme or reason as to why this is happening, I am growing frustrated. I recently found out that I have ureaplama after having a culture done. Could this be the cause of the miscarriages? If so, what should my next step be? I have already been treated with an antibiotic.
Hi Dr, I have a question for you if you dont mind… I was wondering… my doctor checked my blood yesterday because I have been sick and I was probably 6dpo and the blood came back <2
I did however get what looked like a faint positive today but im not counting it as a positive, because it could be line eyes.
Do you think that <2 could mean something? I mean I understand that you are technically not considered pregnant… but theres hcg? and im so early…
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
-Ashley
Doing a test 6 days post ovulation is far too early to provide any indication. Do a blood hCG level and repeat it in 2 days. If it is elevated and doubles every 2 days, there could be a pregnancy.
Good luck!
Be safe!

I have been TTC for almost two years now , I just finished my first ivf attempt , 5 day blastocyst FET March 10 , 2020 . I did my first beta test 03/20 – 62
2 beta – 115 03/23
3 beta – 234 03/25
4 beta – 400 03/27
5 beta -1623 03/30
On 03/30i had an US done and they did not see anything . The nurse mentioned she thought she seen something In uterus but was measuring 4+6 and the doctor said no . My doctor was not in and this doctor mentioned I was 5+5days and he should have seen something . He didn’t eliminated ectopic(But they didn’t see anything in tubes & ovaries looked good ) but he said it is not viable. He said to continue on meds and I go back 04/03 for another US.
My numbers are doubling in normal range 71% (48-72 hours ) trying to stay positive but just not sure what to expected . Any advice you may be able to shine my way .
It is somewhat early. However, repeat the US in 1 week and if you have any pain or bleeding proceed to the ER immediately, just in case this turns outto an ectopic pregnancy!
Stay safe!
Good, luck & G-d bless!

Dear doctor,
I would like to understand the meaning of the bhcg result of 1.8 mIU at 14dpo after transfer of 2 blastocyst good embrions. Does it mean that there was no reaction at all?
Thank you very much if you answer it in a way that I can understand.
Hi Ola,
That simply is a “negative” oucome!
Sorry!

Hi Dr Geoff, I am 36 years old and have been infertile for ten years, I have had three previous relationships where I tried to conceive however I have never had a positive pregnancy test, for the past three years my husband and I have had several tests done, Hysterosalopingogram normal, basic hormones (Estrogen, Progesterone, LH, FSH and thyroid) for me all normal, basic sperm tests for my husband normal. We did one cycle of IVF last month, five follicles collected, all five fertilised however only one 5BA at the end of day five transferred, this didn’t work and the other four were not of a good enough quality to freeze. I am unsure of what to do next, I am reluctant to do another IVF cycle before having more tests done, I know so have DOR however this doesn’t explain why I wasn’t able to conceive for 10 years, also I am overweight at the moment and I feel this may have an impact, further to this although my periods are every month and I am ovulating I wonder if I could have asymptotic endometriosis and if I should have Laproscopy? Many Thanks
