I had a positive urine pregnancy test. Which it was weird because I found out 12 days before my missed period. So I decided to get blood work done. The first blood work was 141 then two days later I had another one at 363 is that normal? Does that mean I am pregnant?
Very likely so.
Congratulations!

Hi dr sher, 30 years old- how many day5 embryos would you expect as a good number from 10 mature eggs? Thanks so much for your time!
3-4!
Good luck!

I had contacted you previously about my hcg going from 13k to 15k following 2nd transfer (4bb embryo). I had a 7 wk scan & saw a heartbeat, but sadly at 8 weeks the heart had stopped. Life brought quite a bit of stress during this time & I’m concerned this had an effect. I am 39 so aware it could likely be genetic, but I do wonder how much my stress could have had an influence? Any insights you could share would be so appreciated.
I am so sorry!
Jen, I do not think that stress played a role here!
G-D bless!

Hello Dr I’m 42 years old 5th pregnancy lmp feb 16 I have had several HCG levels done most recent March 26 500 today April 1 3337, did an ultrasound on the 26 but they couldn’t see anything and my dr sent me to do the hcg which had climbed to 500 compared to 90 4days before. I am so scared I keep hearing it might be fine but I might be molar it could be etopic it could….I had one child at 20 years old with genetic trisomy 18 she didn’t survive long I’m scared of history repeating again…no one is giving me clear answers do you think the numbers are promising—- had my IUD removed dec 2019….
Hard to say! It is not molar, in my opinion). Only follow-up US examinations will provide an answer. It could be an ectopic so be sure to go straight to the ER if you start bleeding or have pain.
Good luck!
Be safe!

Please advice.
