Hi Dr. Sher,
Before my last embryo transfer, I needed to have two Depo Lupron shot because of Endometriosis (no operation?. I got pregnant and got my baby end of March 20.
I am planing to try for second baby next January (embryo transfer).
I am planing my time between, especially in regard of Endometriosis.
Should I take contraception to avoid periods? Like this, endometriosis should not grow?
Do I need to take Depo Lupron again or if I do not have a period between these two transfers, it is not necessary anymore?

You need to discuss this with your personal RE, since I do not use Depot Lupron for this indication.

I am 38 years old heathy female. I have had two miscarriages in a row since January. First one was blighted ovum and second one was after seeing a heartbeat at 8 weeks. I have D&C scheduled tomorrow , but want to know what should my next steps be. Getting pregnant has not been an issue but keeping them has. Please advice

Prednisone 5 mg Vs Dexamethasone 1mg which drug is more beneficial for Frozen transfer and would you suggest and see more benefits in your clients?
Also, Intralipids, is it always advisable to go with 10 to 14 days before transfer or is it ok if we go 8 days?

A: With but a few possible exceptions, Both are equivalent
2. Intralipids, is it always advisable to go with 10 to 14 days before transfer or is it ok if we go 8 days?
A: 10-14 days is ideal in my opinion. 8 day might work but not <1 week.

My last peeiod was April 6th. I found out I was pregnant May 4th. May 5th I did blood work at dyna care and my hcg level were 420. May 8th I had cramps and started to spot so decided to go to energy hospital and they did blood work and my hcg level was 968. May 11th my family doctor made me do another blood work with dyna care again and this time my hcg level was 941. I am doing another blood work tomorrow May 13th to see if there was an increase or decrease. Is it normal different lab has different test results. Should I be concern. I’ve been spotting on and off for 3-4 days but nothing major.
That difference should not be a lab factor. sadly, this could be an implantation issue. A repeat blood testb ill be helpful in 2 days. By that time the hCG level should be 1800-2,00.

I had an US On 06/05 to rule out ectopic, sonographer said things looked normal and I measured at 5w3d (2 days behind).
Do you think that this will not be a viable pregnancy?

It is too early to be sure. Repeat the US in 10 days!
