Dear Dr Sher
I had a FET end September but my clinic don’t offer blood tests and I guess it’s a different system in this country as my gp don’t either. Anyway I’m due my 6 week scan next week but ever since test date I’ve had dark brown spotting. I say spotting but it has progressed to heavier than that but still old blood/dark brown but not continuous but there will be a daily patch of varying amount. That’s been goimg on now nearly two weeks so I assumed my home test would show negative but it’s positive and weeks have gone up. I tried multiple tests and every day and theyresaying same. I’m very confused. No other symptoms and breasts still swollen. I’m assuming miscarriage but admit part of me hopeful. Still taking my injection and patches. What does this mean?
I suggest a vaginal examination to look for a local site of bleeding (usually on the cervix) and an US to assess the health of the pregnancy!
Good luck!

Hi there my hcg levels all doubled finre 40,305,1400,6800 then 48 hours after that 9540 so not quite doubled scan showed sac and yolk sac and measured 5w5d exact from lmp is everything ok if the hcg didnt double and no embryo seen yet
Wait 10 days and repeat the US.

Hello Dr. Sher,
I am 7 weeks pregnant with a 5 day untested frozen embryo transfer. I had my progesterone and estrogen levels checked, I was told my progesterone was fine but my estrogen was low 166. I was currently on 2mg estrace twice a day and today I’ve been instructed to increase to 2mg 2 pills in the morning and 2 pills in the evening. So From 4mg to 8mg! Does this seem too high? Will this effect the development of the baby?
Thanks
P. Walia
I concur with this decision!
Good luck!

Hi, I took my first pregnancy test at 8 dpo and got a dark positive line and a positive on digital.
HCG levels
11 DPO 162
13 DPO 482
Does this sound promising?
Dear doctor Sher,
Recently I had another miscarriage. At 4 weeks I did this thyroid check up and the results were as per below.
FT4 =1.03 (0.93-1.7)
FT3=2.99 (2-4.4)
TSH=1.72 (0.27-4.2)
AC.anti TG=181.30 (0-115)
AC.anti TPO=0.60 (<5.6)
Although Ac.anti TG is always getting higher, and I was pregnant I didnt take any medication for it.
Do you recommend in this case any medication for high TG? Is it an early stage of Hashimoto?
Thank you
