Dr. Sher,
I am doing an CT scan of my upper abdomen on right hand side of my liver using PO and IV contrast. Do you think the radiation or contrast will affect the ovaries? It is better skipping a cycle after the CT scan before egg retrieval?

Is an expanded blastocyst better than early blast?
I have 2 blastocyst :
Grades: 2AA, 2AB
They were biopsied and frozen for PGT-A testing.
I’m happy to see the ICM is an A but the expansion is worrying.

Embryos that progress to expanded blastocysts by day 6, post fertilization are the best ones.

I just finished my first ivf/ICSI cycle. Failed clomid/femara/ low dose gonal f miserably last year. Progressed to IVF due to needing PGTM/PGTA for BBS.
Low blastocyst rate
I just finished my first ivf/ICSI cycle. 29/PCOS/amh 21.5 ng/ml / afc 50+. Ive never menstruated/ovulated before. Provera-induced bleeds only. Negative for CAH, complex carrier. Negative cortrosyn stimulation test.
I’ve been on metformin for 4+ years for IR, and myoinositol for egg quality for a year. I ate a Mediterranean diet, lost 50 lbs, 1-2 alcoholic drinks per week, exercise daily, and did a 3 month prep of the pcos/advanced supplements from ‘it starts with the egg’. My husband (32) (erratically) takes conception XR vitamins. SA normal. My BMI 32 (5’6, 197), husband normal weight/height.
My protocol was menopur 150/fsh 150 for 10/12 days of stims. 2 days in the middle they lowered it to 75/75. Ganirelix for 7 days starting day 6. 10,000 hcg trigger. ER 36 hours later.
We got 25 eggs, 20 mature, 14 fertilized, 12 normal day 1. 1 abnormal embryo, 1 questionable embryo.
They called me with my final number, and I got ONE day 6 blastocyst. Frozen and sent off for PGTM/PGTA.
What should I ask my doctor? Why was my blast rate so poor? I did everything possible for the best egg quality.
My estrogen never went above 1100, is that an issue? Everywhere I look, peoples estrogen is so much higher. Was the LH dose too high?
Hello. I am 40 years old and am 20dpo right now. My first hcg at 14dpo was 236. My second at 19dpo was 1757. This is a 42 hour doubling time if I calculated correctly. 236 seemed high for 14dpo. Do you think my doubling time has decreased already? Should I be concerned? Thanks so much for your time.
It looks promising to me. It could even be a multiple!

I m 28yrs old.i had 2 mc in past with brown discharge afterwards its low hcg low progrostone and no fetus in us scan
But now i m preganant but i have thyroid taking medications almost regular cycle went for ultra sound 7w5d fetus measuring 6w1d doctor told to prepare for misscarriage but i told i will wait they told to take hcg and progrostone it normal 12600 hcg and 15 progrostone.they told wait another ultrasound after 10days!
What will happen doctor?
