I’m curious why the Lupron dose is cut in half at the beginning of stims? It seems like keeping it at full dose would help prevent premature LH surge. Thank you!
The amount of LH that is produced after the dosage is reduced is minuscule and in my opinion is insignificant!

Hi Dr. Sher, we have just confirmed our second IVF/ICSI cycle has failed and have no answers as to why and we are finding it hard to decide what to do next.
First ICSI – 11 eggs retrieved , 4 viable , 3 fertilised – none made it to 5 day blastocyct
Second ICSI – 16 eggs retrieved , 11 immature, 4 fertilised , 2 good quality transferred at blastocyct stage , remaining two were not suitable to freeze. The difference in meds was an increase from 300 too 400 Gonal F. Also had luveris, Clexane and Centrotide. What questions should we be asking or are there additional tests I should consider now before trying again. I had the SIS procedure and everything was fine. Thanks Dr.

I would like to ask your advice on an IVF protocol. I just turned 39 and during 2016 tried 5 IUIs (2 with clomid and 3 with injectables, menopur) and, as none were successful, I am considering an IVF. My main issue is low ovarian reserve (AMH is about 0.5). My doctor is suggesting a protocol that includes 450iu of gonal-f/day combined with 150iu of menopur and micronized lupron daily. Would you agree with this protocol ?
Can I have an endometrial biopsy done 2 days after ovulation when I’m trying to conceive that same cycle? I’m having a biopsy done just as a precaution because of a few chemical pregnancies, but I know biopsy scratch improves implantation. Can it help or harm the chances that month if the biopsy is done 2 days after ovulation? There’s no embryo in the womb to interfere with yet but can the uterus recover in time? Thanks
This needs to be scheduled for early in a separate cycle…preferably as soon after menstruation ceases as possible.

I am 45. I am doing a frozen egg transfer after a failed single transfer. Would you recommend a transfer of 2? Funds and time are running scant.
